Hey everyone, we're at the 28th of May and embarrassingly everything hasn't shipped yet. 10-20 boxes are going out every single day from the warehouse and I've been asking them to pick up the pace. They're on the other coast- our communications are somewhat limited. Apparently it's just taking time because the last boxes to go out are more time consuming to pack (they're quoting me 30-60 minutes of labor per box).
I've gotten authorization to give people a $10 credit to their account if you don't have tracking as of May 28th (today). In addition, if you're tired of waiting you're welcome to cancel your box. I sincerely apologize for the delay and will continue to advocate to get these out the door asap.
On a somewhat funny note, I just got my box at the end of last week. I bought one because I wanted to go through the experience with everyone and see how it feels. I got 32" pants that don't fit, and I share in your clothing disappointment. 100% unexpectedly (and I assure you, completely randomly), I ended up with a DJI Phantom drone in my box. I have no interest in getting a prize from the pool so I'll use it as a giveaway as per my other post here: https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-mega-mystery-box/talk/2425776 I won't be doing the drawing until after people have had sufficient time to receive their boxes.
Lastly, despite the cluster with the last 20% of boxes being late (and dragging on forever), this has been far more successful than we would have imagined. People are, overall, very happy with the experience and I'm having talks internally with setting up something in the future with similar elements to this. It absolutely can't be the same (we don't have inventory left to liquidate, and the dollar-value we gave out here in these boxes was bonkers), but it looks like there's an appetite for mysterious curated boxes of cool stuff. I'll share more details with you once we have them.
KevinThanks for staying on top of this, Kevin. I'm one of the unlucky few still waiting patiently on my tracking notification. It's been kinda great (and kinda terrible - c'mon people, the hostility and contempt was pretty uncalled for) keeping up with the posts as people have received theirs. Definitely an interesting experience!
KevinShould anyone cancel, and I'm sure some will, please release it back to the public for purchase again. I am sure I'm not the only one that would be interested in getting more mystery boxes!

eesparzaI was told yesterday by Mariah D. in customer service that there was no credit or consideration being offered in her reply to my request for an update. Perhaps the policy is lagging and I think an arbitrary $10 credit is ridiculous, perhaps it will come as a mail in rebate...if so, be sure to put it in the box.
The whole fulfillment became dodgy in the end. As customers, we are willing to gamble on the products but not on the process. There is an appetite for Drop's curated-products but there isn't an appetite for random fulfillment or sketchy altitude-influenced-stuffing-algorithms that create classes of customers. Net..net, you did some brand damage on this Drop. Good idea, horrible and damaging execution.
(Aside, I think everyone has been really cool about the delays and I didn't read any nasties on Discord or here...just concerned customers expressing this discontent).

KevinThank you for the update Kevin! After a few unsuccessful back and forths with the support team (same issue as Eesparza), my package finally shipped today. Only one went out and it’s a mere 4 pounds. I bought the $250 drop on the weeeee hours of the 27th, so it does appear to me that there was an order fulfillment issue that worked the newer orders first along with $100 dollar boxes. My first email response from support on the 22nd stated the inventory had already been set aside for shipping, however it wasn’t boxed. My second one on the 24th said it was finishing up shipping prep and should ship first thing this week. I’ve been in customer service since I was 15 and have always worked via the ‘under promise and over deliver’ rule. Hopefully the next time the blind drop happens, that is the going motto.
YeahitsDuckyI feel you, my friend. I also had a back and forth with the support team. Today was my 3rd email regarding this order with no real reassuring answer. I got the exact same responses as you. I also got the shipping notification earlier today. Even though I told them that I was going to be out of the country for a couple of weeks and didn't care muchAat least got the $10 account credit (I think, haven't placed any new order yet). And the UPS shipping details show a 5.2lb box so pretty sure I won't get the inflatable kayak, haha. And now I need to pay an extra $5 to UPS to have it delivered on another date and while I agree that the weight has nothing to do with the contents value, I feel underwhelmed on how my particular circumstance was handled by Drop, even though I asked if they could expedite it (crickets on background). So it'll be more than 2 weeks from now until I can see the contents of my box but for now I feel disappointed ;-(
eesparzaEXACTLY the same situation here, as I’ll be out of town the 2nd through the 10th of June. If it’s stolen off my porch, don’t know how UPS will insure a package of untold worth. However, if it’s a 4 pound box of socks, hopefully it’s in the thief’s size.

KevinWanted to check in, Kevin. We're still looking at eventually getting these boxes sent out, right? It's hard to know how many people are still waiting on shipping labels like me, along with any kind of time frame.
I'm estimating numbers due to some orders with multiple packages- but with 1,500 sold on the item's page, and 80% sent out already we're looking at ~300 orders still waiting to be filled as of your original 80/20 message. Averaging the 10-20 per day into 15, it'll take 20 days to ship 300 orders.
Looking at 3 weeks to ship the remaining orders, and how it's been a few weeks already; the number of remaining orders should be in the double digits, right?
caswallanI'm looking at our dispatch records and it looks like 47 boxes still haven't shipped. They're all partially packed and they're playing hide and seek for the last few items that need to be found for them. I've authorized them, where appropriate, to replace a missing item (if they've spent 30 minutes trying to find it, and still can't find it) with an item of greater value from one of the other unpaid-for boxes (there's about 21 of those). We're on the final stretch of this logistics nightmare. I'm gonna be frank with you, I'm seeing the reports come in, and one of the boxes cost us $82 of labor to find + pack it. We definitely didn't forecast this long-tail of logistics issues correctly here (and certainly didn't feel it early on in the packing process).
Also, before some of you freak out, the "can't find the product, lets replace it" doesn't effect any of the high-priced (say > $200) items. Those are all kept under lock+key in a secure location. It's literally "The manifest says I need to find this $16 ballpoint pen and put it in the box, but the pen isn't on the shelf where the computer says it is, I guess I need to look around for it."

M220 Blue Akg headset that feels nice on my head, some fit socks a Hubsan FPV x4 desire that i flew last night a little bit ( amazing experience), some pretty cool/ sharp looking scissors, a titanium bottle opener/whistle key chain and a dry erase notebook. I also got a keyboard by apt 108 keys acrylic white with some pretty rgb's it feels alright to use but it seems to have come pre beaten up, theres a crack in the acrylic where you plug the cable into the board. Overall though this was super worth the 100 dollars it cost (the drone alone made the box) :D
, My only complaint is that the pair of Kinera H3 in ear monitors were used. The nice cable they came with is all gross and dirty and the silver plated wire was already tarnished around the ear loops and the chest area from sweat and there was wax in the monitor tips. Grosssss. lol
BlacksunnI have many sets of ciem's and the silver eventually tarnishes on it's own but this is from Cologne Abuse. But whats really gross is when the plastic on the cable starts to degrade because people wear so much cologne or hair products it dissolves the the plastic into a gross gooey mess. Blechhh.

KevinFinally got my $100 box. Too small of running shoes, but got a leather belt and socks that actually fit, some Tin HiFi IEMs, a Magic The Gathering oversized mouse pad (don't need but can gift), really nice fabric shears, a leather bound journal in a canvas bag, and whatever a Mooer Micro 8 Power Supply is. Overall, not the most amazing of hauls, but this was fun nonetheless.
