Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.

I just got my HD6XX yesterday (Massdrop). I like the idea of slowly stepping up to more expensive amps (or DAC+amps). I currently have the FiiO E6 - been using it for a little while. Would that be enough with HD6XX? My setup will be this: FiiO X3 (2nd gen) for playing the music. I have a lot of music from HDTracks (and other Hi-Res music). I do have ATH-M50x and as of right now, I use X3 directly with them. I actually have *not* tried X3+E6 combo (not sure why not - but I guess had never thought about whether X3 alone can drive the M50x well or not. Clearly, something to try out!) Back to the original question: With the new HD6xx and the existing ATH-M50x, should I stick with E6 (and/or X3+E6)? Would that be enough? Or should I invest in E10 still? Or something else? I tend to have very acute hearing (bane of my existence - as one of my musician friend said "you have million dollar ears, buddy boy, but are p*ss poor"... sigh :( But I am not trying to get the best setup - money no bar... I tend to listen to a lot of rock, alternative rock, classic rock, blues, some jazz, some classical, some pop.
Thanks again, everyone!
