Maybe a dumb, already answered question but I just read like an hour of this discussion and didn't get an answer. I want to get this guy for my HD 6XXs but it's mostly for gaming/movies (I use an LG V30 for music at the moment, and mostly on the go so an external DAC/AMP is not an option)
Currently I've got a Sound Blaster Z card, which I know won't drive the HD6XX (It barely drives a pair of Beyerdynamic 770s 250ohm) so with this amp, is there any way to connect it to the sound card and still retail the virtual surround? I'd prefer to just use the DAC in the SBZ and preferably I'd like to still use the software as it's far and above the best virtual surround I've heard.
Any way this can work with a couple RCA converters or something?
Thanks, and cheers. Great community here.

Yes, from your SBZ (3.5mm?) to this O2 amp (RCA).

Should be no problem, especially with an O2 amp that's considered to be a flat straight gain.
Oh awesome thank you. Ive never really used adapters before. So just run the amp straight into the 3.5mm headphone port on the card?
>headphone port on the card?
Is there a line-out port? I don't see it in any of the SBZ pics from googling.
If there is then best to try both and see which one suits you.
Using this setup the SBZ acts as the DAC and virtual surround source. The O2 simply acts as an amplifier.
