Wouldn't even mind the front power if the LED was changed to red, ultimately I just want you to adhere to NwAvGuy's specs.

memskeChanging the LED would mean the O2 will not adhere to NwAvGuy's specs. The LED doesn't just tell you that the amp is on, but it's a important functional piece of the O2's power management. There's even a note in the O2's circuit diagram not to substitute the LED.

MonsieurKirbyI mean the colour of the LED from blue to red for a less sleep interrupting colour.... Not removing it. It says to be red in specs, does it not?

memskeThere is a reason I said that changing the LED would mean deviating from the specs. Just because an LED is red doesn't mean it's the same as another red LED. If you search for a red LED on any electronics supply store, you'll find hundreds if not thousands of matching results, each with different combination of illumination intensity, forward voltage drops, drive currents, etc. The unique characteristics of the LED in the design affects the O2's power management circuitry. It's not something to be changed without consideration of the consequences.

MonsieurKirbyYou are trying to say that my wanting the LED to be red is some how changing NwAvGuy's specs... when in fact it would be adhering to it. I never said I wanted it to be a random red LED. I only said I wanted it to be red and adhere to NwAvGuy's specs, I could have meant an Everlight MV5764.MP4B for all you know. Why are you trying to disagree?
