phaysaalYea, the ifi is fine to use with the O2. You should probably go with the 2.5/3.3 gain Something like that. I think mine has standard gain and 4.At least that's what I thought. I could be wrong. I got mine from jds labs though a while back ans moved to an JDS ATOM amp. The O2 can pretty much drive anything to adequate listening levels bar some electrostats obviously. I have HD600's, HE400i and I was recently using them to drive Beyerdynamic DT990 600ohm headphones before I moved onto the ATOM with relative ease.

- iFi xDSD DAC is my principal DAC. Is O2 a good choice to be paired with it?
- HE 4XX is really difficult to drive for my portable amp FiiO A3 (the only dedicated amp I own). I guess O2 is well capable of driving HE4XX and HD58X. The question is - which option of gain is suitable for these headphones to drive?
