I waited 3 months for this amp, guess what? It's defective ... Also the fact that Massdrop have restarted another Objective drop but this newer version being far better for my needs. I really don't have words right now ... What a freaken embarrassment . Sent in a support ticket. Of course, no response.
I feel you man, I got a defective unit as well. My makes a clicking noise once I start raising the volume or changing the gain setting. I think this is the last time I purchase something that Massdrop is involved in making
The only time the O2 should put out any sound other than whatever input you give it is when you turn it on (a slight click) and when you turn it off (a slight thump). if volume control gives clicking noises something is wrong, think i read about this somewhere before. ill get back to you if i can find it.
Edit: Found what i read before, not sure if it will fix the issue but try turning the O2 off and then turn the volume all the way up and down a few times. apparently there might be dust in it.
Im late on this lol but thanks for the suggestion but i immediately sent it back and got a refund. Im going to order an O2 from JDS labs next time.
