Nice amp, until it wasn't.
This amp was wonderful for about nine months. About three months ago, it would randomly stop working. "Fixing" it was a matter of disconnecting/reconnecting the USB plug. It was a minor annoyance and something I dismissed as a bad cable or a glitch at the source. Last night it failed completely. The light still comes on and appears as a source on my computer, but no output. I swapped cables, verified everything else works, and isolated it to the amp. There's a one-year Drop warranty but no option I could find for making a warranty claim, so I reached out to customer service. They responded that since I'm 24 days beyond the warranty, they won't do anything and added that there's no repair facility or parts availability, either. It cost me $130 to learn not to buy on Drop.

First DAC, not my first AMP
The sounds of a DAC was not what I expected, surprisingly good being my first experience of external DAC. With the O2 amp built in, the sound is very clean. Not very forcing as well, very nuetral.

Steer clear and go with the X-Duoo Bluetooth/Wired Amp+Dac.
Fidgety left RCA in, certain low tones seem to invade the left cup of whatever headphones are in (I have no actual understanding how) and completely distort the bass punch. 24bit, 96khz doesn't feel enough for a 140 dollar price-point and questionable supplied power supply. thankfully have a 32bit/192khz mobo sound chip, but definitely excited to get rid of this for the X-Duoo TA-30.

Seems you might have gotten a faulty one because I have had none of those issues.

Crisp-sounding DAC/AMP combo
They drive my SHP9500s and Sennheiser HD 6XXs well. Sounds are better separated and clearer, compared to not having a dedicated DAC. One gripe that I have is the Gain and ON/OFF buttons on the front lack proper feedback/are a bit loose, and the USB port on the back is a bit brittle. But this combo does its job as a $150 device.

Does what it promises and it does it well.
I originally wanted the O2 amp or the JDS Atom for my Sennheiser HD6XX but then i was instructed by some users that i would need a Dac since i was gonna run this from an old laptop......... So i bought this amp/dac combo and could not be happier....... It takes the HD6XX to unbearable listening levels on high gain and the sound is always clear and crisp.......... Great Product.

Amp didn't work
When the product first arrived I Excitedly plugged it in only to hear nothing. After a week of testing, troubleshooting, and finding an old speaker system I discovered the amp was the only thing that didn't work. Unfortunately i didn't buy this dac/amp to only use as a dac and the speaker system takes up to much room on my desk. Fortunately the dac is much better the one i used previously. I would recommend this product if i knew the amp worked.

A no-frills does the job combo unit
It performs exactly like you'd expect something based off the O2 design with the addition of being both an amp and dac all-in-one. Nothing exotic or extra about this unit it's just plug and play really. So far so good no issues running anything and it never disconnects like my Schiit Audio products do. Using it with HD 6XX, 58X, DT 770 250 ohm, HE400SE, K361, and KPH30i (Grado pads) all work as expected out of this amp.

So, you need an amp
I'm biased. Not in any way towards this brand - just that I never had an external DAC or an amp at all and these blew my frickin mind. I dunno how they compare to other things, but compared to just cables out the back of my computer - holy crap, you need them.
