Okay so...its currently Feb, 15th 2022. Just got myself one of this O2+SDAC Dac/Amp but still just like everyone else...no audio. The only way i actually seem to be able to use it, is by the RCA cables to my older amp (FX-Audio Amp) but the volume is extremely low and i cant adjust it on the 02 amp...what a waste of money lmao.
I'm having the same issues a lot of other people seem to be having where despite doing everything correctly and headphones being recognized by the computer, no audio is being played. Just like the others, I have tried seemingly everything and nothing is working. I was so excited when I got this in the mail today after work, but now I'm just confused and disappointed.
I just received this amp+sdac. The unit powers on, red light comes on, I hear noise when powering on/off as well as plugging/unplugging headphones (there is power). No audio.
I have plugged, unplugged, tried different sources, different cables, swapped everything that I provided. No benefit, still get silence out of headphone plug.
Any suggestions for troubleshooting or is it a return?
Thank you all in advance!
An update on this -
Originally I was running this on a Macbook. Those problems are still there, though I have more insight into them.
This hardware has been working wonderfully on a Windows machine with no hiccups.
On Mac, what I have found is that when i plug the device in, it is recognized, but no audio comes out. If I unplug and replug, sometimes it starts to work. If I have the sound options menu up and active, the usb reconnect seems to work...until I move off of the sound options window. As soon as another window is set as active(click on it), all audio disappears again. I dont quite understand what is going on with that...
Received this recently but can't get it to work, when I have everything hooked up all I hear is like a static noise through my headphones, any information on how to fix/if I can fix it would be greatly appreciated
