Should I go with this or the O2 + Drop x Grace SDAC stack? Is there any noticeable difference between the two aside from the price increase if you go with the stack? I will be pairing with the HD 6xx btw.

quintinleonardI would look at the O2 amp and the Grace/drop balanced DAC, better features and the reviews are good; 24/96 is a nice place,, bbut there is so much more...

quintinleonardAs far as I can tell, it uses the same exact DAC PCB as the standalone Grace DAC. The O2 amp part should be the exact same due to the way the original O2 amp creator handles the open source guidelines for it. The single combo unit should perform exactly the same as the stack. If you think you want to split up the DAC/amp into seperate systems in the future, the stack is the way to go.
