Gunnersmate2no offense but you're quite in the red on the BMI, anything with a "slim" or "athletic" fit might be a tough call

mtourneBMI is flawed archaic garbage. It only factors height and weight, while completely ignoring muscle, brown vs white fat (big difference as far as health is concerned), bone structure (shoulder width, hips, etc) and height proportions (body length, leg length). All of which play a role in whether a person is considered healthy or not. It was developed by drop outs back in the early 1900s, for use in population statistics, and even at that, it is essentially useless. Attempting to use it to gauge the health of individuals makes no sense at all.

KadosRight. I'm in the red on the BMI but I'm 10% body fat. I am 69" tall and 215lbs. BMI can suck it.

Gunnersmate2Yeah I’m exactly 69“ as well with around 8-10% body fat, not COMPLETELY shredded but I don’t have ANY visible fat, six-pack, pecks, arms etc but because I’m “technically“ overweight the Veterans Affairs wants to put me on a diet every time I go to the hospital...it’s annoying and dumb!

NPJBI've been dealing with the same crap from my VA they finally got off my case when I got them to do a fat % test. I've been dealing with this my entire life. Some people just have a bigger frame and weigh more. I've never been over weight but have always been in the red with the BMI

Gunnersmate2They just look at the numbers, not realizing how we got there - I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis way “too late”, took the Army over 7 years to figure it out and by then...after over 6 months in a hospital bed with intermittent life support they told my wife that I had about 4 more years in me. That was 6 years ago...I bust my a$$ harder than any RI ever could for hours every day, eat a very strict ketogenic diet etc but - just because they don’t understand or know what I’m doing to heal my body at home they simply discard it and call me fat! I went to neurology on Monday and asked for a letter from my doctors so I could get cleared for a WWP guided hunt down in Arizona...had to take my shirt off to show them that NOTHING is impossible if your heart is in it!

NPJBBeen doing Keto and OMAD together for several years straight now. Amazing how many "doctors" still think i should be dead from it. So much old world garbage still being passed off as fact, without the slightest bit of non correlative research to back it up.
1 meal every 24 hours, zero carbs, high saturated fat, 2500+ calories, ~3 years. Lost over 90lbs in the first 10 months with little to no exercise and am now healthier than i had ever been before. I sleep 6 hours each night, jog 5k every morning and still have more energy than i know what to do with.

KadosYup, pretty much the same here;
OMAD + keto /paleo + calisthenics + weights + kettlebells + ruck marching
Although I can not run (yet) I’m now able to drive a car, my vision is returning in my left eye, I workout four times per day, I take care of my twin 3-year old boys and I do most of the cleaning and cooking.
I started bowhunting and 3D archery in the off-season as my VA approved recreational therapy and I am getting my new Mathews Triax in October. I literally signed up to Massdrop to get new gear for a guided hunt in Arizona but, since I wasn’t cleared by my neurologists I will start doing solo lightweight 3-4 day spot & stalks here in Colorado for Pronghorns as soon as my bow is tuned.
Got my sleeping bag, bivy cover, pu$$y pad, water filters and some Merino wool clothes - hoping I can score a MSR Reactor before Christmas 👍🏻
