I really enjoy this IEM as a contrast to my MrSpeakers Ether, which is a pretty bright headphone. It hits a lot of spots for a non-fatiguing listening experience, I find the treble just a little recessed for my taste but it makes up for it with just the right amount of subbass punch, which is severely lacking in my Ethers.
The mids are very nice and clear, I would prefer a little more midrange, but i do have hearing loss in that specific frequency range. The IEM sounds very coherent and has no bass bleeding, it also avoids sounding bloated on bass heavy tracks. I i find them a great fit for most metal music due to their fast and somewhat punchy subbass.
The worst part about this IEM is the cable, the amount of microphonics is simply atrocious. Luckily they included a chin slider on it so that you can avoid some of it. The cable itself seems sturdy and does not tangle easily, I wouldn't call it super soft but it definitely isn't stiff. The case included with the IEM's is pretty nice, albeit a tad small to fit the IEMs+cable into. I tested it in water and it is not completely watertight, but it should be fine unless you actively put it into water, rain is no problem for this case.
Overall a solid IEM with a wonky cable, if it had a cable with less microphonics this would have been a 5/5 review but I'm gonna decide to say it's probably closer to 4.5/5

ScgorgWow, for $300 you would expect an absolutely sublime cable... Not a microphonic nightmare. It's so cheap and easy to make or obtain a good cable that it's simply inexcusable for this price range.
Thanks for the Review!
