I just got mine today. Infreakincredible sound. It puts my Nobles Xs to shame. It's incredible how the bass is deep yet balanced. Well done guys. Still have a smile on my face several hours later.

StephenVerily unforeseen feedback regarding the reviews in which depicted the resemblance to Andro or ER4sr back in Oct last year. Could it be attributed to the comparison with TOTL items? If any, I'd like to know what the reference iem you use.

HCLinNope, it sounds very similar to my ie 80's which surprised me a lot. The bass is less boomy though.

StephenIn this regard, I guess synergizing with lower output impedance gear may help.

StephenWhat are you using? I've seen measurements where the MD Plus drops to 5 ohms and the iPhone has an output impedance of 3-4 ohms. You need something with a much lower impedance.

cspirouI've been using an iPhone and my Emotiva Stealth DAC/Amp (via synchronous USB input), and with the foam ear tips.

cspirouSo far I've tried using the massdrop O2+sdac, my ipod classic 5g, and even the razer usb-c dongle/dac.

StepheniPod 5g has highish output impedance that will interact with the Massdrop plus. O2 should work though. hmmm

cspirouAfter using every type of the available tips, the foam sounds way better, though I think I'm getting a fine seal with other ones so I'm not sure what's going on.

StephenSometimes takes a bit to find the right tips for seal & sound... I have dry ear canals and when testing it can take a bit to warm up and get a seal with silicone. When there is a bit of oil built up on them, might help.
Also, try different sizes if you haven't yet. Different IEM shapes, nozzle lengths & angles affect how deep or shallow the fit. With many IEMs I now use a slightly bigger size and don't need to force a deep fit. JVC Spiral Dot ML (Medium Large) are my go-to tips for quick testing.
Foam seems to be helping you get a good/fast seal. That's why we try to include a mix of sizes and types.
Good luck! :)

CEE_TEEThanks @CEE_TEE. Just got mine and listening now. Could you please tell me if the 2 pin connections are 0.75 or 0.78?

CEE_TEEThanks, I may just not be a fit for these for some reason. Mids and treble sound recessed no matter which tips I use. Not sure what else to try.

CEE_TEEThanks, and thanks for the spiral dot suggestion - picked up the mediums, and really like them so far. Good seal while still remaining more comfortable than the double flanges, imho.
