View Full Discussion It's heartbreaking that these IEMs don't come with any options to purchase a spare cable or extra tips. Where do I go if I want extra OEM tips? These IEMs are Massdrop made, so where do I go to get a spare cable if something happens to mine? I want a spare cable (not the balanced one), and I've never heard of an IEM manufacturer that sells IEMs with a detachable cable that doesn't offer replacements for sale.
@CEE_TEE Where do I buy an extra cable?
Interested in balanced cable as well, really wanted to try it with my Cayin N5ii but it said sold out when I joined the drop. . Please let us know when we can get one.
We're working on several cables now, artwork is being revised.
After we release the things we are working on, we'll see what else is needed!
In the works for IEMs: Balanced cable with adapters, 2.5mm to 4-pin XLR adapter, Bluetooth Cable, Lightning Cable, USB-C cable. We've had more than one prototype of Lightning and USB-C cable, the aim is good cost and simple.
Thanks much. Will be following closely.
Thanks, I will definitely be on the lookout for that. I personally won't need any super fancy or hi-tech cables. Just an extra 3.5mm cable is all I am after. It would be amazing to get a native 1/4th inch cable though.
While not OEM, extra tips are in abundance for this. Anything that has a 5mm nozzle size should fit these. With my Nobles, the tips are interchangeable with the MD+ so I know for a fact anything that size fits.
Yup, aware of the tips. I think you were the one who tipped me off on which Comply tips were compatible with the MD+. I already have some Comfort+ tips on their way to me ahead of my MD+. Tips are one thing, the main thing I am concerned about is a new cord.
Null Audio makes compatible cables if you don't wish to wait...or we hope to have what you need.
But you mean to say above that you would like a 1/4" termination IEM cable?
Because there are a lot of 3.5mm to 1/4" adapters out there, we don't plan on having an IEM cable that terminates in 1/4".

It would be neat, but it's not something I need. I'd just like the option of buying a spare 3.5mm cable, the same cable that the base MD+ ships with. I just like having an extra cord around for insurance.
