SharkhunterAgreed. Anyone? Bueller? I can find plenty of the 0.75 mm 2-pin cables, but not a whole lot of the 0.78 mm cables with mic/remote.

Kdog248You could go the DIY route, or have it made... I've seen people making custom cables with a 0.78mm termination but I dunno if I've ever seen any working with mic modules.
A Bluetooth receiver would be another option (Fiio BRT1, etc.), those usually have a mic so you gain call functionality when using it. BT has it's downsides and all but those things are tiny and quite convenient for calls or when SQ isn't that utmost priority.
If/when this drops again I'm more than likely in, and I'll get Lindsey from Impact Audio Cables to make me a really short cable to wear with one of my BT receivers. (I tend to clip it to my collar etc.)

SharkhunterAnother commenter here brought up Null Audio, they have a ~$22 USD cable with mic that should work (pick Westone/Noble/JH 2-pin termination).

I might pick one up just to try it... Though I think my ideal solution would be a really short cable terminated to 2.5mm balanced (so I can use it with one of those BT adapters I mentioned, I happen to have one that supplies more juice over a balanced connection) AND a 2.5mm female to 3.5mm male TRS extension.
That way I can just plug in the extension when I wanna use them straight out of my phone or w/e without having to unhook the cable on the IEM constantly. Will need to see if Lindsey can build this...
Null Audio also offers a $75 cable in choice of terminations with a built in DAC and a Lighting or Type C connection, for those who have phones that dropped the 3.5mm jack... No clue how the DAC they're using compares to the typical $10 dongle tho, the cable is certainly pricier. They have some specs on it, mic equipped as well.

Kdog248From my understanding, 0.78mm and 0.75mm are the PIN DIAMETER, not the separation between pins as I thought. So for a 0.75mm IEM, you can use a 0.78mm cable but you'll stretch the plug out. For the massdrop IEMs you can try to use a 0.75mm pin but it will be a bit loose.

Sharkhunter64 audio's cable is 50 bucks, InEarz cable is 45, Noble has one for 80 bucks. From what i'm reading, the Noble cable is built like a freakin tank.
Alternative: get a portable bluetooth amp (fiio uBTR isnt great, but BTR1 is fine, mpow adapter works decent but is outdated and doesnt have the qualcomm 8645 chipset, radsone earsonics is most pricey but best option, but you'd have to use the balanced cable because unbalanced output impedance is 2 ohm measured and balanced is 1 ohm).
Fiio btr1 is only 50 bucks, has trash range because they put bluetooth into a metal box (????) but it has a sub ohm output impedance and a nice chipset, and wont break the bank. can be used with many different headphones.
KZ iems have a TRZ or TRN or something bluetooth cable, only 30 bucks, but i havent heard good things about it. LEAR has one too but its 100 bucks and has a high noise floor, not good for these IEMs.
The android specific mic cable is something you wont be able to find, you'd have to custom build that because of how the volume controls work. But all mic cables (generally IOS friendly) will at a minimum work for pause/play.
