In all seriousness now if you are looking for value, you have it, according to people here this is still the absolute lowest price for these headphones anywhere, even if depending on which country you are from you might only save $30 or so. But hey people from poor third world countries will still save a lot more than that and find these headphones to be an excellent value for their money.
If you are wanting the awesome $200 price that I paid, [moderated] that has passed now and Massdrop and Sennheiser will never bring that back, you are wasting your time whining. Maybe if you whine enough and pee in your pants mass drop will give you a $1 discount LOL. Too bad you slept in and missed the drop the first time around. LAZY!
As for the price increase, realistically the $200 was super low in the first place and very unrealistic and they only did it the first time to get people’s attention.
Massdrop and sennheiser has been more than GENEROUS and accommodating to the whiny complainers here, from SPENDING EXTRA MONEY by SHIPPING me a FREE extra cable that I really didn’t want or need (but thanks mass drop for the replacement) to dealing with all the shipping issues some people had here. I am glad they are not offering international shipping to certain countries because of all the shipping problems.
There are currently 62,000 people wanting 7,500 headphones. If you are not one of the people who are getting first dibs because they slept in on the first drop, I doubt you will get these headphones at the $250 price anyways you stupid complainer. I am going to advertise these headphones up to the max on multiple forums just to push up the number requests so you will get even less of a chance to get these headphones!
Anyways, here is a crappy picture of my SUB 500 SERIAL headphones with my FREE extra cable, all for $200, I am posting it just to rub it in for you.
This guy [moderated] again.
I spent the whole time trying to order on the day, from one minute in to when they'd all sold. Getting one was a matter not of cleverness that day, but of luck getting a client session allocated on the webserver while it had memory to allocate and managing to process it before it died again OR rolling onto another good session request - most of us got stuffed over and to wait this long and find out we get kicked in the teeth over pricing is frustrating. $387 for the 650's here, $330.6 + 2-3% currency conversion fee and wait 6 months for the HD 6XX is..well, not coherent with Massdrop's 'buy in bulk and save lots of money with a great deal.
If I go from saving $110 AUD to $30 in exchange for not listening to music for 6 months, what's the deal?
Yeah. I mean, I don't approve of the name calling in your post, but I understand your point of view.
I don't, however, understand all the whiners here who think this is not a GREAT deal for all of us wanting this headphone.
In EU these (the 650's) are going for around 340€ if you can find them, that's around 380$. So even if I have to pay TAX'es and Duty'es I'm still in a great position regarding the state of my wallet.
So, to all of you that are complaining, please keep doing so and don't buy these headphones so the rest of us get a better chance of grabbing one ;)
Peace, and stop the keyboard hate and trolling (this is to all that answered my question about shipping from Ireland to EU directly) because we can communicate in a civilized manor. ;)
