I got in the monoprice m1060 as my first step into "high end" headphones and to this day i loved them everytime i can sit and hear music. Would these be better cans?

not better, different. The M1060's are planar, while these are dynamic drivers. Not as fast of response, but a detailed (more forward) midrange.
