Out of a good amp? Definitely. Out of a cell phone? Nope!
The HD598 is a really good headphone. This is better but only if you have the gear to back it up.

Well do you know of a good headphone amp that won't, you know... break the bank? Like under $50 if that is even feasible?

You can check out the Fiio's. They're decent for the price. An E6 is only $40. Eventually you'll want to upgrade, but they'll get you started.

Depending on your budget, I'd check out Garage1217 and Schiit. All of Garage1217's amps in the $200-$350 range. If your looking for a broader spectrum, Schiit has a $99 amp/dac combo all the way up to a $4000 amp/dac pair. If your looking for under $99, check out Fiio. They go as cheap as $30.

Start off with something smaller, like the Mayflower O2 DAC/Amp Desktop. Reviews very well received by many users, and it takes up less space on your desk. But that's from my opinion. I'm sure there are more good DAC/Amp combos for starters.
Personally, I just use my receiver as a headphone amp with some DAC functionality, as I bought the unit at a decent price. But saying that, it took out almost half of the space on my desk.
On a second note, not sure if I should opt out of this drop. Got a bill to pay and then after that, it'll be all about survival for the next 6 days.
