it is funny. I was kinda relieved when the 250 price came in since i had just bought the sennheiser headset here and the price hike was the deciding factor not to get these. Now I have no excuses and have to get these.

I think that was the case for a lot of us. Six months wait time plus the price increase made these a complete waste of time, but being in the $200 range makes the wait tolerable. Vote with your money and companies will listen.
