Okay, so, I am very new to this and thinking about jumping in on this. So, are these below, same, or above the 650's? Also, will they sound better than my Bose?

I like my Bose. They're not that bad really, regardless of what the others might say about them. But these are much better. Audiophiles? Who cares about them. You listen to what you like.

You're right Sparc. Audio is like wine. You are the only one that can decide. The experts can only say what it sounds like to them. We're all different with diverse tastes and capabilities. Ultimately, the only test that counts is does it sound good to you. Specs and opinions are meaningless if you don't like the sound. Same as wine. I have Bose headsets too. I bought them when I was flying a lot. In a noisy environment they are a Godsend. Of course I'd rather listen to any source on my McIntosh/B&W system.

Nothing wrong with Bose. They've got the best ANC in the world, and they don't actually sound as bad as people make them out to be.
