hey guys, two questions
Does it ship from Ireland to Czech republic? or it has to go to USA first and then here? I dont see any point in this, first its time, unnecessary costs and plus customs (Czech customs are not friendly at all)
I am posting here the reply from Massdrop related to my same question ..
" We will not know which courier will be used until right before the package ships. This is determined by the vendor and the warehouse. We hope to have to option to select your preferred courier in the future, however.
This drop is manufactured in Ireland, and then shipped to our warehouse where we break down the bulk order and ship out the individual orders. We are not able to request that orders ship directly from Europe at this time. "
Lol, how annoying, it's made in my own country yet gets sent to the US first
I know! I'm in NRW and have to pay extra shipping and wait longer as well lol No, it has to come from Germany to US and back to Germany again lmao.
ok guys, I understand you. You are still small company and dont have negotiating power to persuade Sennheiser to ship headphones to individual customers, that would be too much painstaking work for them.
In the future, maybe you could get Amazon Europe involved and use their ware house. It cuts time, makes them cheaper for Europeans and we emit less carbon by not sending headphones on world voyage before sending them to customers.
200 + 15 shipment +40 import tax, plus time spend at post office to pay import tax it sums up to me about 285 usd ( I dont price discomfort of dealing with unpleasant tax officer ). On ebay, right now there are couple of offers in the range of 280-300 usd BUY NOW option ( some open box some new). I will just go for this, unfortunately.
But i really support mass drop! i think its fantastic and really innovative idea and for sure i will get involved more with you guys.
P.S. Please make things bit less American centric:) I know its biggest market but as you can see from comments people in Asia and Europe listen to good quality music too. And given Trump, I would not make much bets on US Market anyways.
