Can they be used without a wire? I mean paired via Bluetooth?

armaniConsidering the type of connector it uses, the power it would take to drive it and the fact that it has a cable for each ear, unless someone comes up with a third party attachment, you can't use it wirelessly.

armaniCables and adapter funkyness aside, you could, but you really wouldn't want to... I mean, I guess if you had an AptX HD or LDAC BT source and a corresponding adapter/receiver with a decent enough analog stage at the end it might work OK; but I can't imagine why you would assemble that kinda setup with an open can, not very public space friendly.
I guess if it's for using them around the house untethered you might have a rare exception that would seem viable... Adapters with AptX HD or LDAC are still rare tho and regular BT would be a bottleneck, nevermind the quality of the analog stage on anything small and battery powered...
Short of using these with a Fulla 2 +phone + a USB battery pack strapped to Batman's utility belt, I'd just get something easier to drive for any kind of wireless setup. PM-3, Meze, lower end Senn 5xx series if it really has to be open, etc. I generally use closed headphones or IEM for any kinda mobile setup but Koss PortaPros or KSC35/75 are good cheap open solutions (my go-to for skiing or running outside the park).

armaniNo, you’ll have to pay extra for Apple’s iphone boondongle like the rest of us ;)
More seriously, if you’re looking for wireless headphones in a fixed environment, take a look at Senn’s RS series. They’re not as refined as the HDs but I hooked an amp up between my TV and the RS-180 base and have great sound as I slide around the kitchen prepping steak across from the living room.
