My unit arrived last Thursday (March 22) and I waited a couple of days to review it. Shipment was fast enough, but then again with standard postal service - DHL eCommerce. Bulgarian customs charged me with import tax and VAT, on the total value with shipment, which was a bummer. The packaging was intact and the unboxing experience is quite premium. The build quality of the HD 6XX is impeccable. For the moment I feed sound to them with my trusty old FiiO E10 and the sonic experience is miles apart from my previous sub-$50 Sony pair. The HD 6XX feels wide and transparent, they don't feel busy, but relaxed. I'll be upgrading my setup later this year with another DAC, solid-state amp and a tube amp and I'm quite excited that I'll be able to enjoy the new gear with such great headphones. :)

It's 1% on headphones, though other electronics may have different tariff that should be checked prior in the web, but is synchronized with EU regulations. VAT is 20%.

My shipment status wasn't updated since 21, when it has departed the distribution center in Germany. No update for a full week and it has been one of the longest weeks I've remember. Cant contain myself just thinking about all the 30% VAT I'm probably going to pay because Serbia. I do hope its worth the wait, strange how this week of waiting was harder than almost 4 months since the purchase.

Then it will be handled by the Serbian Post and will have a different tracking number. Look around for it in the DHL site. Mine was changed and I found by accident that it was in the customs.
And yes, ovi ljudi na carine sa puno nenormalne. :D

You are lucky that the customs charged you. On my pack there were some informations missing and just before the local post office want to give me the pack they said that they have to send the pack back to the customs with a wating time for me for about 2 to 24 weeks. Now i have to wait and get it by my self with all the bills i can get from Massdrop with every information.

That's a shitty situation. In my case I called the post office located at the central customs and they gave me instructions to print out the receipt and the tracking information. Armed with these papers, the whole ordeal was around 30 minutes and an excited tram ride back home. If you can send the customs those documents they can speed up your delivery.
