One of the best deals on audiophile headphones, ever. The good: very acceptable overall sound signature, a jack of all. Bass and sound thickness [for an open-back] was a nice surprise. Vocals and mids are just sweet. The not-so-good: The sound-stage may be a bit narrow, the highs may be a bit rolled off, and at times it sounds a little too dark. There is sometimes much left to desire up in the highs and timbre. The headband clamp-force will take time to loosen up and adjust. The stock pads can get uncomfortable after a while, a little rash-y around the ears. The manufacturing quality, despite of the extent of plastic used, will be good for years. Very solid. I also like the dark blue color scheme very much. There's no flimsiness to the product which sometimes may find itself even in $500+ cans. Also. these cans scale really, REALLY well. Throw some good juice into them and they really shine. Overall, the value (@200 or so) feels incredibly high. PS: Sennheiser and Massdrop went to the farthest ends to keep their word. That means only one thing: I can deal with my eyes closed. Yup. There, I said it.
