Do these kind of preorder drops generally stay the same price even after the product is manufactured & available? Or do they jump up in price after? I’m asking because I’m currently in the process of building a new PC and can’t spare the funds for a new headset right now, but absolutely want these at some point in the future. But if it would be cheaper to get these now, I can go ahead and bite the bullet and join the drop.

Price typically stays the same. With that said, as someone with the HD6XX, I'd suggest the PC37X if using your headset for gaming (maybe not?) which is cheaper and better for such -- also currently/regularly on Massdrop.

Thanks for the response! That’s good to know. I’ll hold off on these for now then. As for gaming, I’ve currently got a pair of Cloud II’s that I use for gaming & they get the job done so I probably won’t be buying another headset specifically for that. The HD6XX’s will be for everything else. Thanks for the input!

They increased the price once in the earlier drops, but it was not well received, and they returned to 200, since then it has been stable, so I don't think that will change. The downside is the waiting time.
Also, with the rumors of 650 being replaced by 660S, the new mid fi flagship, I wonder if Sennheiser is liquidating stock with this drops, and for how long are the drops going to continue.
Actually, I remember MD saying there wouldn't be much drops this year after the one in December-January, but I think this is the third or forth one since then, so who knows, maybe they understimate the production rate. If anything, I'd recommend that if you want one of these, don't miss the next drops.

You can get sennheiser game zero for better price. Elsewhere. Practically the same. And good.
