Hoping someone can help me out with something that's been bugging me for a while. I have a song I can't remember. It was a song that was posted here on Massdrop on a headphone discussion thread (but I can't remember which pair). I believe it was posted as part of a list of test tracks that the poster liked to use to test headphones. Unfortunately, the only thing I can remember about the song is that it starts off with the sound of someone walking through the woods, and you can hear leaves crunching underfoot.
PLEASE HELP ME FIND THIS SONG :(
I don't know why but for some reason I feel a need to find this and spent longer than I want to admit trying but couldn't. So, for my sanity I have a few questions: was the intro straight up someone walking through leaves or was there music along with it? What type of music was it? What headphones have you looked through the discussions? Was the song embedded youtube, a link or just a suggestion you had to google search?
EDIT: In the meantime I found this post that has a bunch of music: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/massdrop-sennheiser-hd6xx/talk/1903235?utm_source=linkshare&referer=JERT2Y
thanks dude! I've been experiencing that for a few weeks now. I keep on coming back to Massdrop hoping I'll coincidentally come across it.
All details are if I remember correctly, so not guaranteed to be fact (unfortunately, my memory is garbage):
- I believe the intro was only someone walking through leaves, but there may have been additional audio layers added on soon after
- unfortunately, I don't remember much more than that... I'm not sure about genre, or anything, I just remember it was really chill sounding, and I really liked it because of the soundstage on the song.
- I've browsed through almost all over-ear headphones, but I'm not sure what product they were on. I'm starting to think it might have been on an amp, IEM, or other audio product ...
- I believe it was embedded, but I'm not entirely sure.
Sometimes, we remember things much more vividly than they were. Wouldn't be surprised if you find the song and say meh after listening to it.
