Selling mine in Boston if anyone wants it. Will sell for a reasonable price. mine is from the october drop
Just curious... any specific reason you're selling yours?
@Aergonus @JeremyP call me stupid but i prefer wireless for convenience (over quality). I cant be bothered to use a DAC and amp every time i want to listen to music. I have a Beoplay H8 so it kind of makes this redundant for me at least.. i'm looking for about $160.
Fair enough. To each his own. And I wouldnt say it's stupid, at all. Best of luck! I don't imagine it will take you long to find a buyer.
I know what you mean--I keep a set of Bose QC 35s handy incase I need to roam around the palace grounds, helps to drown out the noise my girlfriend/worst nightmare makes too. Never liked shoving a DAC/AMP in the pocket of my silk pajamas anyway--spoils the cut, you know?
I'm okay with the wired stuff when I'm at my desk, but when you gotta move; you gotta move...
Couldn't agree more. I had the first gen QC35 and they had incredible isolation but I just felt the there was something missing in the music (the trade off with ANC i guess). I feel like the B&O Beoplay series or perhaps the Bowers & Wilkins PX might be the best combo of performance and portability. I'd hate to sell my 6XX but I'm moving out of town and have already parted with my Schiits and FiiOs and it seems like Massdrop might not be discontinuing this collab anytime soon if I do ever consider getting these again.
Well, we know we give up something for the freedom of going wireless; but in my opinion, it's worth the trade off--depending on circumstances that may arise. We don't say it's better than wired, just better than not being mobile when needed. As for the future; who's to say? One day wireless may be better, and 6XXs even cheaper!
