I have the budget line hd558s. Will I experience a difference for music and games buying these +dac/amp?
I'm not too familiar with the audiophile world.

ShiroJiroLet me relate my personal experience when I purchased my HD600's. I had the HD598 and HD558 (foam modded), and I was very happy with them. They were my first open back "audiophile" headphones save for my Prota Pros (which I love, but don't really consider "audiophile"). When I got the HD600's I realized instantly that I was listening to sound that was "next level". At the time I was using a NuForce Icon DAC (which was also a headphone amp... it's no longer in production). I remember having some chills run up my back (corny, I know, but true) as I started listening to some of my favorite evaluation tracks. I didn't have the same reaction when I got the HD650's (same as HD6XX) since I'd already had the HD600's, but I'd imagine you might since you've only experienced the HD558. I couldn't really say about the gaming experience since I don't game, but I will say that unless you find the right amp (for me it was the Woo WA3) you may not experience the same level of openness provided by the HD558. But musically and in the area of resolution, the HD6XX should outclass the HD558 by a pretty good margin. On a budget I'd recommend the Schiit Magni 3. It pairs nicely with the HD6XX, has plenty of power, and provides a pretty open soundstage (even when compared to the earlier Magnis).
