I just read that it has 300 ohms so I don't know if the phone will have enough power to drive it. Didn't know if that was an error in specs or if anyone has a pair of these headphones and has tried it on their mobile devices yet.

It works, and it will be better than any earbuds you'd normally use with them, but they will sounds better if you use something more powerful, like a with a headphone amplifier.

np, if you plan to use it mobile I recommend the next step to be: 1. get a phone that is known for having a powerful amp baked in, like the lg v30 or htc10 or 2. get a portable amp/dac - this will likely be the best result but way less convinient.
For desktop a cheap fiio e10k is a great start, now I got a separate amp that is stronger than the one in the e10k and I just use its dac and it works great.

I use mine mostly with an iPhone 7. I'm very pleasantly surprised at how good it sounds. An iPhone 7 can't drive these cans properly, but it still sounds quite good with less bassy music. I do have a DAC/Amp that I use as well, but for portability reasons I often end up just plugging straight into my iPhone and find it very listenable.
