I've had Senn HD650 rev 2 many years ago and have since upgraded to an Audeze LCD2.
I joined the drop end of May for 2 reasons;
1. That the HD650 (or in this case, HD6XX) is one of the most pleasant sounding headphones I've ever owned and I want to get this one and actually keep it.
2. That at this price you cant even get a decent pre-owned HD650. This is such a great bargain, you actually lose money by not buying one.
3. I know I said 2 reasons, but the 3rd is that the LCD2's are a bit too heavy and extended listening sessions are becoming a challenge.
They are En Route and currently in an airport in Germany on its way to me (Australia). I am very excited!!!
Expected delivery date is 30th Aug but I have a feeling I am days away fron actually listening to them.
same here, it's been stuck in Germany for a couple days, hopefully coming to oz soon
Mate, buckleys of getting the postie this arvo!
On a serious note, I hope the tracking is just not updating and our package is actually in Australia.
Here is my tracking status

PROCESSED AT TRANSIT FACILITY
IPZ Frankfurt, DE
I hope we both get our delivery soon. :)
Here’s mine. End of week delivery doesn’t look promising, maybe next week.
Mine hasn't moved. Still sitting at Processed - Frankfurt DE
Oh thanks, thats good to know. I guess we've got another 2-3 weeks. Cheers.
Hey mate. Arrival at destination country. Mine's in Sydney at 0801hrs yesterday morning. It may very well be delivered within the week.
That‘s awesome, mate. I’ve just checked mine, it’s in Australia as well, says “departed from local distribution center”, I’m getting excited!
Yeah me too. What have you got to drive it?
I just use my universal audio Apollo twin to drive it, what about you?
I've got an ALO Audio Panam with Passport. But Im thinking of selling that and getting a schiit stack....after I recover, financially :)
Apollo twin, I looked it up. Thats some serious stuff you've got. Are you an audio professional?
Schiit stack is a popular choice, go for it. I was quite into audio engineering a few years ago, but it’s more like a hobby for me now, I still do mixing stuff occasionally.
Sweet! Yeah if you haven't owned an HD650, there is no doubt you will love it for listening. It maybe a little too polite for mixing though.
Let me know when you receive yours. No updates on the tracking website yet
Got mine this morning :) Did you get yours delivered too? Out of the box, pretty good. Not as I remember it, but maybe I just got used to the LCD2. Ill leave it overnight playing looped tracks. Hopefully smooths out after a few days
Finally got mine this morning, so far so good.
