The drop has been extended for 24h every day for more than a week now.
Some people might like it but imo it's a shitty thing to do, pushing people to buy now since there's so little time left on the drop (or so they think).
Its a sales tactic called a take-away that helps indecisive people commit and creates the illusion of scarcity.
Udemy (a popular online learning service) is funny for doing this kind of thing. It has 200$ -> $15 sales on pretty much every course every day, with a countdown to the end of the sale by the hour. It has hours, maybe days, where any given course isn't on sale, then goes right back on sale. It does it so blatantly that nobody cares.
