Will the headphones need an Amp and DAC? Also, will any of the Schiit products work for these headphones? I kind of forgot which one was which, but would the Magni/Modi 3 be able to power these?

The Magni/Modi is a common stack used with these.

Yes, in general you'll want an amp of some kind due to the 300ohm impedance. I've heard, over and over, that these like tube amps, so if you can spring the extra ($50 if I'm reading their site right?) you might want to go with the Vali.

What about the DAC? Should I change or just keep it to the Modi 3? I'm trying to get some good quality sound without paying too much.

Never used one, but review and measurements suggest the Modi 3 is good to go eg https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/review-and-measurements-of-schiit-modi-3-dac.4742/ Revising my earlier statement, I've been looking more into the amps (precisely because I might buy either a Magni 3 or Vali 2 - already set on DAC) it sounds like a lot of people aren't finding much if any difference between the magni and vali so based on people who've owned both it sounds like either amp is probably good. I think you're gonna have yourself a good setup to enjoy these :)

I have the Magni 3 + Modi Multibit combo and they're fantastic with these headphones. Very impressed with the detail, soundstage and dynamics. I don't think you'll have any regrets with these three items.
