Being music number 1 in the list, followed by movies and long final place games, do you think these are a good fit or would you suggest another? I’m used to the Z7 sound signature and I’m looking for a dark, warm and “bassy”, just the enough for movies, tight and controlled headphones.

Most people would agree that the HD58X has more bass

Yep. The decision is killing me. Already discarded the HE4XX after hearing several users about a spike in the treble that used to cause some fatigue after several hours. Can ot be that the 6xx have a darker sound next to the 58x? I’m not looking for something balanced or neutral at all.

Thanks a lot. I know the DAC. I was thinking about going whit a pile of Schiit along a Loki EQ, I read many people saying that the 6xx behaves really nice with EQ’s. I’d like to try them first before buying the stack, maybe if I like them a lot I’d go with a Topping DX3 Pro, but on the other hand the EQ comes handy.

The HD6XX is all about being balanced and neutral.

Mmmmm, judging the FR’s I see that the HE4XX is more balanced and neutral. HD-6XX is pretty dark, in fact I was comparing the FR of the Z7 and they are VERY close. They do really intrigue me.
