I am new to the audiophile game but have a little experience with headphones in the $200-$300 range. These blow anything else out of the water that I've listened to. I'm only listening through my Samsung Galaxy S9+ or alternatively my Lenovo Thinkpad laptop and they sound fantastic. So I can't wait to pair them up with a good headphone amp (recommendations welcome). Lovely clear mids, good separation and decent soundstaging too. Bass is definitely very good as is, I'm getting so much more texture and fullness from the bass already, but again, I'm looking forward to pairing them up with a decent amp to get more low end. Hearing some fantastic new things in songs, that I've never heard before, which is exactly what I wanted! Great entry point for anyone interested in upping the quality of their listening experiences.

Schiit Magni amp and Modi dac stack is $200 and are a great starter combo for a headset like this. If that's to expensive Schiit Fulla 2 or FiiO k3 are ~$100. If money's no option a DarkVoice tube amp (~$300). Those are for desktop use though if you need a portable amp/dac FiiO also makes good portables Q1 Mark II dac/amp or Q5 more powerful just amp. Generally dac's aren't a HUGE deal, most systems come with half decent internal dac's now adays. Getting the most out of headphones like these is largely done by an amp. Most of the amp/dac's mass drop makes are good too.

Thanks for the recommendations dude really appreciate it. I think the dark voice sounds like it could be what I'm looking for, going to check this out for sure! I've also heard and read great things about the monoprice portable headphone amp with the thx aa technology. I'm not necessarily looking for a portable but this has great ability apparently.

I wouldn't get a portable unless you need one, they have to be charged in order to power the headphones and generally are limited in power output as a result of that. If you want a good THX amp there's a Massdrop made one Massdrop x THX AAA 789 Linear Amplifier but the drop isn't active atm. The DarkVoice is a great amp, just make sure you get different tubes for it, the ones it comes with aren't good.
