So reading through some comments here i noticed some people got defective units around the time manufacturing moved from ireland to romania. Is this still an issue or something to worry about? How can I check that I don't get a pair from a bad batch?
Romania vs Ireland production is not an issue. The drivers (the coil that actually vibrates to make the sound) are still made in Ireland. The assembly is done in Romania. So unless it falls apart in your hands because the pieces weren't snapped together properly (the entire headphone design uses no screws), it isn't the fault of the Romania production. Nonetheless, if anything goes wrong during the warranty period, we'll replace the headphone for you.
