Both are quite infamous in their own rights, and personally I like that they went with the more expensive of the two since the HD600 can already be found for around $260 and they feel just a bit more premium as well.

HD650 are slightly more desirable by semi-audiophiles (most of crowd). If you value neutrality HD600 is slightly better. Also HD600 slightly easier to drive.
