I am rather amazed that the drop will be limited to 5,000 units when the request for the product is over 10,000. I would think that we would be able to get the number of available units to be higher and therefore get a better price on them.

10,000 people requesting and 10,000 people actually dropping the $200 are very different things.

Very true, but I would be willing to bet that they sell out well before the time the drop would just end without selling out.

so looks like the wouldn't have had a problem selling 10,000 unites seeing as the sold out in less than 3 hour.
