Does anyone know how you can check the no. of purchaser you are? I kinda wanna snag one of these just for the serial number and if I don't get it I may just give up cuz considering how popular these cans are the MD is definitely have another on of these drops so I could get it next time.

The serial number is random (and for the first 550, random from 0 to 500). Massdrop doesn't follows the join order, so you won't know your serial number until you unbox the headphones.

But it says right there "The first 500 purchasers will receive a pair of headphones with a serial number under 550." And so what's that supposed to mean?

For the first 500 purcharsers, massdrop will ensure that they will get a serial number under 550 (but random also). I know this because when I joined the Fostex TH-X00 PurpleHeart, I did it during the first seconds but I received the serial number +200.

Normally I would say try, and you should be able to contact support and then cancel if you werent, but im not sure if you'll be able to here because the drop will complete in like minutes.
