I already have the HD650 but joined the drop anyways. I bought my HD650s around 5 years ago for $550 Canadian. Amazing how much the price has lowered since then.

JustawayExcluding this Massdrop version? You can't count these as they are limited in supply and this is the first time you can buy them. Amazon US has the HD650 for $337.

JustawayAnd why are you buying the HD6XX? It is exactly the same as the HD650, so you'll have two identical headphones. Why not jump at the AKG K7XX drop here at Massdrop? Same price, but a very different sounding headphone. That is what I would do personally.

BeyondMaxPowerI already have an AKG K702. Deal on the HD6XX is too too good to pass and I want a backup.

JustawayI don't blame you on the backup. What other phones do you have and recommend? I have AKG K702 65th Anniversary, DT990, and soon the HD6XX. I have a bunch of IEMs and Eat Buds as well, but full size is where it's at. I want the Mini price M1060s when they release and Focal Elears as hopefully my end game cans.

BeyondMaxPowerBesides the HD650 and K702, I have the DT880. The only headphones I'd recommend you are HD650s for full size but you're getting the HD6XX so you got that covered. For IEMs I have the Shure SE535 which I also totally recommend. I've seen them on Massdrop a couple times too. SE535s are extremely sensitive though, so need a very low noise amplifier like the O2. I've accidentally left my portable players on volumes intended for a full size headphones and then switched to the SE535 while forgetting to lower the volume, almost blew out my ears.
