Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. I'm going to these from a pair of Grado SR80's which I'm actually fairly fond of. The first thing I noticed is my AudioEngine D1 needs a lot more volume to drive these making me think I might need more amplification. Although at the top end of the volume on the AED1 it's uncomfortably loud, but very clear. So it probably is capable of driving these. So now my bigger concern is the volume level transition from headphones and speakers. I suspect I'll be scrambling to turn down the speakers since they're powered (AudioEngine A2+'s).
I have to give a big thumbs up to the presentation packaging. I've never felt so special opening something in my life. That was cool.
