Mine arrived today #3686.
I'm going to these from a pair of Grado SR80's which I'm actually fairly fond of. The first thing I noticed is my AudioEngine D1 needs a lot more volume to drive these making me think I might need more amplification. Although at the top end of the volume on the AED1 it's uncomfortably loud, but very clear. So it probably is capable of driving these. So now my bigger concern is the volume level transition from headphones and speakers. I suspect I'll be scrambling to turn down the speakers since they're powered (AudioEngine A2+'s).
I have to give a big thumbs up to the presentation packaging. I've never felt so special opening something in my life. That was cool.

KombiThere's not much out there more fun than the Grado SR80! Be sure to hold onto them, I bet you'll still be able to enjoy them for what they are even after owning far more expensive headphones.

DubharmonicAbsolutely, they definitely haven't dimmed in my appreciation of them, but I'm absolutely pleased with the HD6XXs. So I'll probably take the SR80's to work where they'll continue to serve me well. Plus, they seem to take less power to drive so they're a lot more flexible in that regard.
