I've had the monitor for 2 weeks and it's already failed. The monitor developed distinct horizontal lines from one side of the monitor to fade out across the length of the screen. Thinking that it was just a failed cable, I have tried multiple displayport and HDMI cables in all of the ports available on my videocard and the monitor itself with no success, all of the ports show the same lines. I ALSO worried that my videocard or memory had somehow come loose so I made sure to re-seat everything just in case... It's not the type of banding you normally see from a not-perfect connection, but I re-seated everything just in case. Didn't help. I also tested the cables on other monitors I have here without any issues.

I contacted CS via email on August 8th since it seems to be the only way to, and finally got what I thought was going to be an actual response from a Joshua F on their CS team on the 11th (not counting the auto-reply from their system). The email was just as the original automated reply email was back on the 8th, the standard "we'll get to you as soon as we can", only this one had a person's name attached to it so I guess that's a little progress?? Tomorrow the 15th will be 7 days. If nothing definitive from an actual person shows up in my inbox by EOD tomorrow I'm going to have to call my credit card company to dispute the transaction. It sits on a table behind me, mocking me as I had to go back to using my dual 1080p monitors... At least they're both 120hz! UPDATE: Got a replacement, been running the monitor for over a year now. DisplayPort connection no longer works, but runs at 60Hz through the HDMI. Should have returned this one as well, but I'm OK with the overall performance. Bump in stars for their quick replacement.
