Got my monitor a couple days ago, it's now paired beside a entry level 25 inch Acer IPS and I have ZERO complaints so far relating to image quality etc....... lol
Great stuff from the look of it (again 2 days in).... nice footstand (when compared to my cheap but good Acer IPS). Also that whole idea about twisting the monitor 90 degrees is great innovation that isn't necesarrily a novelty for some people out there.
I'm a gamer (insert other activities that fit the bill too) wherein I won't buy a 4K bust your budget monitor unless I've already blown my budget on a 4Kish computer. Having used computers from the days of Commodore64, I know some parts last a long time and some become "obsolete" faster when I'm buying one part of the package that makes up a desktop computer. Examples would include a nice set of speakers (Edifiers or !!TANNOYS!!), sometimes sound cards (Asus Xonar Essence STX v1.0) , a very nice power supply (Seasonic 1000w) and other ideas like a nice monitor and a for some people a nice keyboard (Ducky/some German stuff etc...).
Some reviewers said the control fob/knob is counter-intuitive but I had no problems with it... so I will agree and disagree with them!
I would say (sadly I dont' have much dual/triple monitor setup experience) that I am having some small issues getting both monitors to power back on from sleep (after 10 minutes say...).
Also, took a few reboots to make sure everything was checked out OK... Dumb stuff (because it was not a problem for me ultimately) like AMD drivers recognizing 1 of 2 monitors as being Freesync capable but not the other. << it autocorrected after one reboot
Seems to be a great job done from my viewpoint, it compliments my brand new Ryzen build from 1 year ago... but again, I avoided Ryzen problems by luck compared to some people who of course would voice their opinions.
In Canada, I had a $146 due as my CoD. I was expecting around $100 based on the price of the item. My Sennheiser/Massdrop headphones were less than the monitor so I just made a figure up in my head. I'm reading the other comments. The box was a bit dusty/dirty and one corner was bent out of shape.... no big deal. Monitor doesnt' have a scratch and works fine. Pays to put heap loads of styrofoam threshhold (aka thick) between corners of boxes and items inside. (lol) I don't know that end of the game like others might, probably lots and lots of options out there though.
