Could you state which country you are from and weight of box you received. At least this will obliterate the belief that all heavy boxes over 2lbs boxes stay within the cheap courier charge zone. The heavy box which contains a single watch should carry the bigger brand watch. Hope this is not a fact.

willie2849I'm from Poland and my $65 tier item weighs 0,8 lbs, so it's one of the lightest. Some low-profile watch like Enclave, I suppose.
Sad, but overseas shippment costs a lot. Every gram counts.

mle.7Precisely this is one of the harsh unwritten terms we have to come to terms with. It is not so much of a mystery because being in Malaysia I don't stand the slightest chance of getting a luxury branded watch "sitting in a big and heavy box" which is just reserved for near places due to low zone courier charge, think I am right. You can see the better looking watches have reached their recipients. For us in Malaysia we probably have to suffer till another 3 weeks before we see our "mystery" watch

willie2849My box was 2.35 lbs (contain 2 watches) and after few days they change weight for 1.999. Dunno why. Also shipping to Poland

willie2849Mine is 2.75 lbs for one watch in $250 tier to Malaysia, but it'll take another week or two to find out what's in it.

SzyderNot sure if massdrop had ever practiced random selection for a mystery sale, will they ship you two watches with oversized boxes or two small watches with paper cartons which are cheaper to handle and ship to you

willie2849The 42mm Breitling did come with a leather case. I bet it was under 1.5lbs.
I received an Eterna Kontiki gmt yesterday (not massdrop) and it was 0.98lbs. It's a $1400 watch (4k retail)
So not always true.
