I got one of the 8 Tissot Tradition Quartz watches in the $150 tier. I'm honestly a little disappointed, it's good value for the money I spent but I was really hoping for an automatic or flight watch. Pretty sharp for a quartz dress watch though! I'm open to trades
Also, it shipped without battery and with a manual for analog mechanical watches, resulting in 15 minutes of me trying to figure out how to handwind it before I realized it was quartz
Also, it came with a literal 275 page book on the history of Tissot
What was the weight of your package?
2.1lb. the 275 page book on the history of Tissot that's included in the box had something to do with it haha
What was the size of the actual watch box? Did your Tissot box fit loosely in that 10x7x6?
its a pretty watch at least... not "gold" like the other one from a couple days ago. sorry it wasnt what you wanted fella, but.... could have been worse I suppose!
Based on the size of your box and the tier that you are in, it looks like I am likely getting the same watch. I honestly don't mind it at being quartz because when it comes to dress watches, which I don't wear much other than maybe once or twice a week, the fact it is quartz is good since I won't have to set it every time I put it on.
You're not wrong! I'm going to have a battery put in this week and see if I like it enough to keep haha! I do have another dress watch already but it's more of a gold color and an Eco-Drive, so maybe it'll be good to have a silver one around
Just save up and get a Hamilton Khaki King 2 or Khaki Field for $300-$400. You wont be disappointed with that 80hr power reserve
Kinda holding out for a Stowa Fflieger anyway, that'll probably be my next big buy
Have you gotten a battery? I think mine also came without one. I'm not home until next week though but my wife opened it.
Yes, I had my AD put one in, they charged $15 for it. It did indeed ship without one. Now that it's sized and running I actually quite like it!
