Now this is an actual limited edition. The spam of the regular K7XX "limited edition" kind of made the limited edition part pointless.
On another note, i already broke my pair after a few months of home use. It's not catastrophic, but somewhat disappointing nonetheless.

Unfortunately, this has always been a known failure point of this series of headphones. I still have my original k701 and haven't cracked the plastic, but am being really careful with it

That's a common problem. I've had this happen on 2 pairs of Q701. I just clipped off the extra plastic.

Ick. If that's not covered by warranty, you might be able to do a decent repair job using Bondic.

That kinda happens when you fully stretch the band and apply enough pressure to the plastic rail. That might have happened if you unconsciously pulled down on the headphones and pulled apart the ear pieces when taking them off.... I'll remember never to do that.

Yeah, it actually would be covered by warranty but to be honest i CBA with the hassle and cost of returning the headphones back to muricas from Finland. The exchange would take for ages and it would not be cheap either.
