another thought -- being new to Massdrop... why wouldn't you start shipping after the reserve quantity has been hit? In this case, there are over 1000 units sold. I don't think you will cancel the drop at this point... why not ship those who locked in before the 1st deadline? Sorry if it's a noob question...

Maybe AKG will only ship them to Massdrop if they hit a predetermined amount sold. Not necessarily the full 1500 but a number that they've negotiated between them. Maybe that's why Massdrop extended the drop, they were worried that they may not hit their target number of units sold.

Probably the bigger the order the more to save. While it wont get cheaper for us, it'll be more money Massdrop can make. One large shipment is likely cheaper than 2 smaller shipments too.
