people, burn in is a myth, thats gets done in the factory, these days its al sorted before you get them, its your ears that need to get adjusted
Burn-in isn't a myth as much as it's a mental thing in 90% of cases. Tyll has measured some headphones that had minor burn-in for one reason or another (could be pads adjusting to someone's ears or something,) but those are very infrequent cases. More often than not, people get use to a sound signature and are able to start articulating what exactly they like or hate with a headphone.
Something like that happened with my Alpha Prime, but it wasn't positive. After a week, I got tired of the headphone due to the odd high-end and mid-range distortion that actually sounded pleasing when I had first received them.
