OK - just joined this drop (open-back) - and previously joined the TH-X00 (closed-back) which will be shipped next week. Here is my question - Is the Grace M9XX a good/capable amp for these units. Have also joined the CEntrance for use with myiPhone - but with my computer, are there other DAC or amps I should be considering? Thanks! Love the discussions - lots of help!

CmauiWell, neither of those headphones (on paper) are terribly hard to drive, but I'm sure benefit quite a lot from a good amp. All of the amps you listed should have plenty of power for these.
I would also suggest the Micca Origen+. It drives my T50RP headphones (planar magnetic) with authority.
Grace M9XX would be more than enough.
To put power output into perspective, the iPhone 6 output power at 33ohm is 26mW. Source: http://www.anandtech.com/show/8554/the-iphone-6-review/11

CmauiActually, after having seen this review, I'd go with a Schiit stack!

For about $100 less you can get the Modi 2 Multibit + Magni 2 Uber. I run this destkop setup (at work) and it pushes any and every headphone I've ever connected to it with power to spare, and sounds great. If you want something similar to the Grace M9xx, try the JDS Element. https://www.jdslabs.com/products/151/the-element/ If you want to save some $$, go with a Micca Origen+. I carry that around with my laptop, and it is fantastic. https://amzn.com/B01BURJVOC
