i plan to use them for gaming with an Xbox one, so i have to attach it to the controller. will it work?

zakiIf you have the new One S controller I can confirm they work perfectly, but you won't have microphone for chat. I'm not sure if the original controller has a 3.5 mm jack, but if it does or if there is an adapter they should work perfectly there too.
