Hey, I was wondering which AMP I should buy. Looking at the SMSL M3 or Schiit Magni 2. Also, would it be a good idea to buy a sound card instead? (Creative Sound Blaster Zx) I was wondering if this was a good option because the sound card would sit inside my pc, resulting in a cleaner desk.
P.S. if you have a nice altenative im all ears ^^

EmielBoonI'd go M3. Magni is just an amp, so if your DAC is crappy, you'll just be amplifying crap with the Magni. You could get the Modi & Magni but then you're close to $250. M3 is plenty of power for these and runs under $100. Volume knob at 1:00 on the M3 with these K7XXs gets painfully loud. Only if you're listening to very quiet recordings or music with a large dynamic range (ie classical) would you possibly need more power. Magni is probably overkill for most listening.
